Butt in Chair

I keep meaning to post a new blog entry, but then life gets in the way, and hey, it's summer. The chickadees, towhees, pine siskins and goldfinches are chatting away in the garden, the sun is shining, and I'm outside watering the plants every five minutes. I should be inside writing my next book. Okay, I have been writing at least five pages a day. The writer's motto is "butt in chair." Don't think. Don't worry, don't fret. Just sit in front of your computer, butt in chair, and write. The story will emerge. It always does.
